More people are alone on Thanksgiving Day than the general public realize.
The Thanksgiving Day celebration get more commericalized than the real family gathering on special holiday.

While I was a student at Gallaudet U., I decided to stay where I was at, instead of going to home. I decided to invite the Deaf group that were from Africa, and to have them join me for the dinner. It was nice at least to keep myself busy during Thanksgiving day!
