“Eyes” is fascinating! I meant it is the best thing I have ever seen (and heard my with hearing aid) since I viewed the first vlog way back in the catalog of ASL or Deaf Music Video. Or they may call it abstract art if they don’t hear or include the music, it worked either way.
I don’t know if you know me but your brother, Jody does. As an artist, my eyes always absorb anything new, interesting bits and odds. Even though I just turned 60, my eyes and ears are still in 20’s like yours. Your choice for the sound like ambient music or trance, the melodic synthesizer, was brilliant.
Like Mark said, you played and blended well, really mesmerizing!
Your Anne Frank eyes, profile, hands that you intermingled was was so exquisite! Beautiful!
Some of us, Deaf visual artists, have coined the term ‘handscapes’ (like the landscape, cityscape, seascape, animalscape, etc.) Yours is a fine example. We keep experimenting with the colors, shapes, movements of the hands around the face(s)s or none, as we are looking for a new way of aesthetic approach like you did, making it as artistic, appealing to both Deaf and Hearing.
I am glad to see more emerged Deaf artists like you and Rosa having a lot of potential! Not only as an actor but I am sure you are a painter as well.
Brilliant!! Really liked how you visually showed layers of music melodies - so mesmerizing. Will you do Robert Miles - Fable/Children?
